The rayden was formerly the official currency of the Free Luna Protectorate, and is currently the currency of New Luna. A plurality of raydens exist in the form of credchips, but paper and coins are still widespread. Paper and coin currency surged into New Luna upon Luna's forced acceptance of the crebar in 3005, crashing New Luna's economy and devaluing the rayden significantly, making it one of the least valuable (or stable) currencies on the market today.
