The SS Kentaurus was a Nova-class civilian vessel in the late 24th century. On Stardate 67551.4, the Kentaurus was one of two ships that responded to a distress signal from Subspace Relay Station 60, which had been crippled by a shock wave created from a nearby temporal phenomenon. After two days of rotating a low maximum of crewmen, she left the stabilized emplacement and continued toward nearby planet Mudd. The Kentaurus was refitted with a shorter pair of warp nacelles at sometime during her history. (Star Trek: Pretoria)
