The White Flame is the personal freighter of Jedi Master Daer'Gunn and his wife Araya. When Daer'Gunn was younger, he entered a tournament with a couple of friends in order to buy a ship. During this tournament, the friends discovered that the Hutt in charge was setting people up to die for sport. Upon learning this information, the friends tried to escape but got captured. They were forced to continue on in the fighting but eventually gained their freedom through the death of a fellow fighter. Instead of just leaving, the three broke into the Hutt's personal depository and stole the prize money and many other profitable items that were found there.
