The Seven Sheaves was a tavern in Carvahall owned by Morn. The tavern was hot and filled with greasy smoke from tallow candles and a pair of large black Urgal horns were mounted over the door. The bar was long and low, with a stack of staves on one end for customers to carve. When soldiers from the Broddring Empire arrived in Carvahall to look for Roran, they often got drunk in the tavern and damaged the building as well as injured some of the customers, even going so far as to kill Quimby when he tried to stop them from harassing Tara, Morn's wife.
