Patti LaBelle (b. 1944) is a noted blues singer and actress who has appeared three times on Sesame Street. She performed "Oh, How I Miss My X" in a segment later included on The Sesame Street Special. She has also performed "Gospel Alphabet" on the show (First: Episode 3825), as well as "Take the Hand of Someone You Love" with her backing group, The Sweeties (EKA: Episode 2401). Labelle also sang "A Little Bit" on the Sing: Songs of Joe Raposo album, and also appeared in the celebrity version of "Sing" on a 2000 episode.
