The Imperial Court was, from 2387-2407, the highest court of law in the Solarian Empire. It composed the judicial branch of the Imperial government. The Imperial Court was headquartered on Solaria, in the Imperial Justice Building. The Court consisted of twelve justices (each addressed as "Your Honor"): one of them was the Chief Justice who lead both the Imperial Court and the judicial branch. All justices were appointed and dismissed by the Solarian Emperor at will. Judicial procedure was also set, modified, and repealed by the Emperor.
