The Tortoisnail is a mid-boss in Rosenkreuzstilette. It is a huge tortoise-like monster found in The Fortress City of Zuverburg, Sichte Meister's stage in the original game. It launches bombs at the player character from the back of its shell. It can also move its eyes at the player, which are its weak points. The Tortoisnail can be defeated with one Zornesbombe. However, its bombs are capable of detonating the Zornesbombe prematurely. It is based on the Escalue miniboss found in Toad Man's stage in Mega Man 4.
