Under the orders of Nakano, this scientist strapped Shadow Yamoto, Jonathan Blade and Slash to the machine in order to discover why they were here to stop Bio-Key research. After firing up the machine for all three prisoners, the employee deciphered the Brain Scanner's results; Yamoto was using ninja mind control to hide her thoughts, Blade had little knowledge of the plan and Slash only thought of fire, his one obsession. Frustrated, Nakano ordered the scientist to turn the power up to maximum, despite his fears that the level could wipe Slash's mind. Under fear of punishment, he continued to raise the power, despite continuously relaying fears that the machine itself couldn't take too much. The device promptly exploded, freeing all three Champions.
