The Comedy Store is a comedy club located in Hollywood, California on the famed Sunset Blvd. It opened in 1972, and has helped launch the career of many comedians, including Jerry Seinfeld, Andy Kaufman, Jim Carrey, David Letterman, Jay Leno and Robin Williams. In the Jim Henson Hour episode "Miss Piggy's Hollywood", Fozzie Bear visits the famed club, auditioning for them. Dave Goelz makes a cameo in the club before Fozzie gives his audition. Statler and Waldorf are also in the audience, once again heckling the bear.
