The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is a Ministry of the Russian Empire. The Ministry works to preserve natural resources, operates mining and prospecting operations, manages the country's massive nuclear weapons program, sets policies concerning how to handle and properly dipose of radioactive material, produces nuclear reactors for the Navy, conserves energy, energy-related research, domestic energy production, and radioactive waste disposal. The Ministry also sponsors scientific research and funds atomic-studying and safety labs.
