An unnamed Whatnot Muppet took Waldorf's spot in episode 25 of Statler and Waldorf: From the Balcony after longtime balcony buddies Statler and Waldorf split up. The character, a hip young Whatnot, enjoys remakes of classic films, keeps a blog, refers to his co-host Statler as "Stanley", and is just a bit too hip for Statler to handle. Fortunately for Statler, and the audience, Waldorf returns to the show after Statler forces the replacement to leave.
