Ricky Tan is the main antagonist of Rush Hour 2. He was the former best friend and partner to Lee's father while working for the Hong Kong Police Force. While investigating a smuggling case, Lee's father discovered that he was betraying the police force and working for the Triads. Tan confronted and killed him after Lee's father pleaded for him not to kill his son. He is portrayed by John Lone.
