Andros was a Federation planet in the Antares system. In 2270, the USS Enterprise arrived on Andros to deliver Commander Spock so that he could board a transport bound for Vulcan. The Enterprise then proceeded to Starbase 11 for repairs. (TOS novel: Yesterday's Son)
