Hanna-Barbara is a former producer of cartoons and animation. Founded in 1957, the company was purchased by Younger Bros. Pictures in 1996 and in 2001 the companies' properties were annexed by Younger Bros. Animation and it's stock was deleted, effectively rendering the company useless. Hanna Barbara's studios are now the headquarters of YB Animation, and it's trademark is only used for re-releasing classic Hanna-Barbara movies and cartoon productions.
