Adhemar is a traveling human entertainer who appears in the Smurfs comic book story "The Jewel Smurfer". He and his partner Godilot find Jokey Smurf and use him simply for purposes of earning money, while a mysterious man hiding among the audience blackmails them into using Jokey for stealing valuables from the townsfolk (at first, Jokey Smurf brings Sarsaparilla leaves, and when he's told he must bring money, he warns them about the trouble money brought to the Smurfs). The story eventually leads to the capture of Ganelon and the blackmailer, the exoneration of the two entertainers, and the rescue of the captive Jokey Smurf.
