In 1978, he followed MacLeod to Cannes, France, where MacLeod dueled with the Immortal, Lothar, on the beach, Anthony, however, had not followed MacLeod that night. He was, instead, at the La Cage nightclub taking part in the "Mr. Disco 78" competition. His inattention, therefore, left the details of MacLeod's fight against Lothar unknown.
