Deathmaw has an obsessive eating disorder and diabetes, which he isn't treating. As a child he was overweight and abused by his father, the apparent cause for his later violence. Deathmaw is usually defeated by a hero armed with Ghostess Pinkee Cakes, although he knows they are bad for him. He has a close relationship with the hero Boy-Toy, who actually cares about his health.[1]
