Charles Swift appeared on Coronation Street in May 2010 as Iain Gibson, who along with his wife Verity, were prospective purchasers of 12 Coronation Street which had recently gone onto the market. After completing a three-year acting course at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2009, he has also been credited for roles in Doremi and The Turning Enigma. On stage he has appeared in productions including The House of Blue Leaves and Mary Stuart.
