The French Agency for the Development of e-Administration (Agence pour le Developpement de l'Administration Electronique) (ADAE) was officially created by a decree published in the Official Journal on February 22, 2003. The missions of the new agency are: The agency is headed by a Director, who chairs a supervisory board comprising representatives of ministries, regional and local authorities, other public bodies, users, businesses, and experts.
