The Power-up Space is a special space first seen in Mario Party 3. Appearing only in Duel Mode, if a player lands on the Power-up Space, the Millennium Star will double the attack power of their partner, which in turn increases their salary. The attack increase is reset, however, once the player reaches their starting position.
