The Javin campaign was an anti-piracy operation in the Javin sector in 0 ABY, which escalated into a proxy war against the Galactic Empire by the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Originally there to stop the Mugaari pirates, the Imperial Navy was hampered when Rebel Alliance Special Forces began aiding the pirates. After a lengthy campaign, the Empire was victorious and the pirate group was disbanded.
