Blanche DuBois is also the name of a band based in Perth (Western Australia), fronted by sisters Nadija and Adriana Begovich. In 2004 they signed a publishing deal with Australia’s largest independent music publisher Mushroom Music Publishing, and their song Slow Motion (from the Slow Motion EP; 2004) was featured across the Seven Networkfor advertisements for Australian drama ‘Home and Away’ (from November 2004 – January 2005). They also stepped on stages alongside Sarah McLachlan, Jewel, Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins, George, Pete Murray and Ben Folds Five.
