Before How I Met Your Mother, Tami worked as a writer and producer for MADtv, a writer for Psych and a writer and executive story editor for 30 Rock. She was nominated for three Writer's Guild of America TV awards for her work in MADtv in 2003, 2004 and 2005. She also won three WGA TV awards for her work in 30 Rock in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
