Tammbeak was a fearsome male falcon and member of Laird Mactalon's tribe in the Northern Mountains. It is presumed he was the second-in-command to Mactalon as he commanded the first charge against the crows. He was also Rocangus's friend. Tammbeak was the first to find Rocangus, Dumble and Thrugg when they were being attacked by crows. He later escorted them to Redwall Abbey, after they had found the Flowers of Icetor to cure the Dryditch Fever.
