Chen Ming-di was a historian. Ming-di was the author of Imperial Atrocities and Other Noble Pursuits, a history of the Galactic Empire's brutality over the early years of its reign. The narrative detailed events such as the capture of the legendary Citadel of Ebenmal and the brutal subjugation of Rhador, where carbonite war droids froze its inhabitants in carbonite.
