[Source] The Lorardia system was a star system located in the D'Astan sector of the Outer Rim Territories and contained the planet of Lorardia. During the Cold War, a survey team was charting an uninhabited planet in the system when they received unusual readings; the readings were determined to be caused by large deposits of maranium underneath the surface.
