Kayree is a Cajun hound dog from Lousisiana and she likes to climb up trees, jump rope, go fishing and reading books. She and her family had to move to a different state because of Hurricane Katrina and she liked being in that state and made friends with Lionel at the library. Kayree would later appear in the background in further episodes. She also appeared at the "Back to School & Back to Bed Pajama Party" in Mississippi to greet kids ready for another school year.
