Ansha was a member of Species 571 from the Delta Quadrant. Ansha and her marriage partner Dornar had one son, P'Chan, who cared for them. Ansha and Dornar were killed in a Borg attack, while P'Chan was assimilated. (VOY: "Survival Instinct") This character was only mentioned in dialogue. According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 1, p. 30) , Ansha and her family were on their homeworld when the Borg attacked.
