Nova: Annihilation is a 2010 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Richard Rider. It is the first theatrical Nova film, while also tying into the Marvel Movie Universe. Directed by Martin Campbell, the film stars Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Alexa Vega and Ron Perlman as well as Jim Carrey, Glenn Close, Vin Diesel and Manu Bennett. Annihilation was scored by James Newton Howard.
