He participated in the Battle of Samsarra. Later he was serving on the Andromeda Ascendant when he was held hostage by Nietzschean mercenaries, as a consequence of him being in the Andromeda's cargo holds taking inventory. He was held by the Nietzcheans until Captain Hunt traded himself for the other hostage's release.
