West Runton Pavilion was a venue situated to the rear of West Runton Village Inn, on the North Norfolk Coast, For many years it was a starting point for many British tours by major srtists, ranging from The Damned, The Clash and The Jam to Bad Manners to Motorhead, Saxon and Iron Maiden. As such it was a terrifically important venue in the late seventies and early eighties. The venue closed in 1983, was demolished and flats were built on the site, all that remains is a blue plaque. There is a group on Facebook in honour of West Runton Pavilion here See also Cromer Links Pavilion
