FK Syktyvkar is a Uralican football (soccer) team founded in April 2008, after two minor-league teams from the old Russian System, Chronos Syktyvkar and Ural Syktyvkar, merged. It had a relatively poor season in the opening Bolakliiga season, winning five, drawing three, and losing fourteen, while in the second season, they won four, drew two, and lost thirteen, finishing sixteenth.
