Sona Sitri is a High-Class Devil from the Sitri Clan, serving as the President of the Kuoh Academy's Student Council as well as the childhood friend and rival of Rias Gremory. She is shown to be very strict and intelligent, taking nothing lightly. However, she is dedicated to her dream: to open up a Rating Game school in the Underworld that welcomes all Devils, regardless of their status. Like Rias, Sona became the heiress of the Sitri Clan after her sister, Serafall, became a Satan, which caused Serafall to lose the right to inherit the clan. She did have a fiancé, but she managed to break off their engagement by beating him in a game of chess, stating that she wouldn't marry someone who isn't as intelligent as herself.
