Tray'Essek was a male Trandoshan criminal enforcer who was active during the early years of the Galactic Empire. At one point in his past, Tray'Essek was humiliated and betrayed by his fellow clansman Lar'omx. A follower of the Trandoshan religion, in line with Trandoshan traditional beliefs, Tray'Essek's jagannath points were zeroed out, leaving him without a place of honor in the afterlife. Tray'Essek subsequently sought to restore his position by taking the life of his betrayer, and he vowed to devote the rest of his life to tracking Lar'omx down and to ensuring that no-one else killed his rival first.
