When Queen Griddle's ruby ring disappeared, Holmes appeared to investigate the theft. He accused Sir Loungelot of stealing the ring due to footprints in talcum powder next to Griddle's bed, but knew that Loungelot was innocent and needed time to figure out where Griddle dropped the ring during sleep-eating. Eventually, both he and Flicker simultaneously realized that it was in the tapioca, however, Holmes was locked in the dungeon for framing Loungelot. It is unknown when or if he was released.
