Tharos the Quick was the Captain of the Guard at Aroughs during the Rider War. He was the son of Lord Halstead, the last to remain in the city with him. He was the brother of Galiana. Tharos met Roran on the roads around Aroughs and briefly talked with him. Later, after the Siege of Aroughs he led a small rebellion against Nasuada's rule which took several months to put down.
