Upon discovering Katherine Marlowe's secret library in London with Victor Sullivan and Charlie Cutter, Nate uses various objects within the library to work out that clues to the city's location lies in crusader crypts in France and in Syria. They decide that Chloe Frazer and Cutter will travel to Syria whilst Nate and Sully will investigate the French chateau. Nate, Sully, Chloe and Cutter escape the citadel using a tour bus, though Cutter breaks his leg in the process.
