Ægishjalmer, literally "Helm(et) of Terror", is a helmet, forged deep in Dweorgheim, and imbued with a terrible magic, so that whoever views the helm in battle is siezed with an uncontrollable terror, while whoever wears the helmet becomes almost superhuman. It has been sought throughout the ages by kings and warlords, for intentions both good and evil.
