The Ceremony of Waters was an Alderaanian tradition practiced by the Dro and Thul families. It was a ceremony of peace, so all invited to attend had to leave any and all weapons behind. The ceremony began with one person humming a tune, then placing their hand into a fountain and letting the water run over it, with the others joining in. Guests were then given glasses to fill with water from the fountain, and there were speeches given about the life-giving properties of water.
