Eeiauo was a Federation planet, and is home to the felinoid Eeiauoans, an offshoot of the Sivaoan race. In Eeiauoan the word Eeiauo means "beautiful", but in Sivaoan it means "outcast". The two species separated 2,503 years prior to the arrival of the USS Enterprise. (TOS novel: Uhura's Song)
