Naalan Hittal was a brilliant Telian scientist who helped to pioneer Near Light Speed (NLS) driver technology. His research on the reduction of time dilation effects allowed the Telian civilization to develop an advanced space industry free of the issues previously encountered with NLS space crafts. He died in an accident on Telios Prime, following the crash of the commercial transport ship he was on. There were no survivors of the accident.
