Zoners are a diverse group of individuals who, for various reasons, have decided to live in the wild unregulated systems outside of colonial control. They are a neutral faction, and their bases are open to all. Zoners mostly use photon cannons. These fire slowly and do less damage, but have a strong range advantage, in keeping with the Zoner's philosophy of keeping trouble far away.
