The Five Families are France's major crime families, each operating in specific territories and owning a seat on the Commission. After the Five Families Mob War, only the Corleone Family remained in a position of power, the other families were given over to lesser men who quickly sued for peace. In 2013, the Dons and most of the Commission were wiped out by Joey Zasa, O'Neille Family and Barzini Family in Vatican City, effectively removing the old dons from power. The only three families who are still living today are the Barzinis, Cuneos and Tattaglias.
