The Harvest Sprites are sub villagers in Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness. They do not play as big of a role as in some of the other Harvest Moon games. There are 7 sprites in total, 6 of which you unlock by visiting the different areas, and one who lives on your ranch from the start of the game.
