Skaven Skirmishers is a term used to describe a team of Skaven weapons-specialist trained in the use of a wide range of diabolical weaponry. Among the Clanrats of Clan Skryre, a few are entrusted with devices of import such as Poison Wind Globes and Warplock firearms. When formed into units, these Skaven can be devastating on the battlefield—both to themselves and their enemies. The best of these are ushered into the higher secrets of the Warlock-Engineers, though such promotions are rare.[1a]
