Creative Research is a term used to describe falsified or exaggerated statistics. If caught by a judge, it can be grounds for Silent Disqualification, and is generally frowned upon by the debating community. Nonetheless, it remains a popular tactic for many teams, including the Henry Wise Wood Dream Team, as it's often quite hard to prove as an opposing debater, and even less often taken into consideration by the Judges.
