Adolf Hitler (20 April 1889 – 12 June 1943) was an Austrian-born politician and the leader of the Socialist Party of Austria. He was Minister-President of the newly-formed state of Austria from 1928 to 1936. Adolf Hitler was a popular leader in Austria, who helped to continue Austria's republican reforms and road to a recovering economy. He was overall supportive of the nation's numerous ethnic groups, but he was controversial for his thoughts on Jewish people.
