Fyor Rodan was a male Senator in the New Republic who was a well-known opponent of Luke Skywalker's New Jedi Order. Secretly, he was a member of the group called the Purists, who wished the internment of all Force-users in the galaxy. By 36 ABY, he had become Chancellor of the New Republic, and declared that all Force-users must be registered with the government and interned.
