The House of the Red Lotus was a tea house in the city of Tsuma reputable for its sake and entertainment. It was opened only for a month before and after the Topaz Championship. In 1150 the house was owned by a wealthy Doji merchant that used it to maintain connections among high ranking members of other clans.
