The phenomenon in which a work of Science Fiction or Fantasy has only one religion (The Church) in it; furthermore, there are never any factions of it, or different interpretations of its belief. This is related to Law of Conservation of Detail. The lack of other faiths doesn't particularly break Willing Suspension of Disbelief, so why bother?
